Troy Lighting in Our Dining Room

A few weeks ago we updated our dining room lighting. Originally I wanted to only update the lamp on our white sideboard with something a tad bigger, but after browsing the Troy Lighting website, I stumbled across something even more special than just a lamp and I couldn’t resist picturing it in our home…

I discovered the beautiful Huxley from Troy Lighting!

The Huxley is the perfect amount of texture which brings the ultimate organic feeling to a space. I didn’t think our dining area could get any better, but here we are, evolving and adding some new dimension into this area of our home. That is truly what I love about about home decor and design; something as simple as a light fixture can allow you to bring a different vibe to your space. You are capable of changing the look and feel without a big ol’ demo or without spending thousands of dollars to change the permanent things.

The Zen Lamp from Troy Lighting grabbed my attention with it’s beautiful large shade and earthy dark low profile base. The design of the Zen is minimal and I love having this lamp on in the evening as it lights up this whole area of our home, giving off all the ambiance hygge vibes!

The new lighting in our dining room makes me so giddy! I’m just loving all of the texture and the bohemian look in here. I also love that the Huxley with its dark brown weaved shade ties in some of the darker wood accents around our main living space. For reference, we went with the middle Huxley size measuring 33.75" x 23.50" and it is definitely the perfect size for our dining room :)
